Foundation Advisories
Oral History Advisory Group would concentrate on identifying subjects for oral histories, providing visibility and national publicity for oral history projects, and securing funding to continue the program. Members of the Advisory interested in developing policy and procedure for the Foundation’s oral history program would be welcomed on the Oral History Committee.

Research Fellowship Advisory Group would lend visibility to the fellowship grants available through the Foundation, in some cases serve to select fellows, and help to publicize and utilize the research materials provided through these fellowships. Advisory members would also help to identify and secure funding for named fellowships.

Awards/Scholarships Advisory Group would participate in the nomination process for Foundation awards so that well-qualified nominees will continue to be submitted for the awards. The Advisory will also generate ideas for publicizing the awards and scholarships nationally, helping to educate the medical community to the programs the Foundation has to offer.
