  Annual Fund Gifts
Annual gifts to the Foundation provide support for the operating budget of the Foundation as well as projects which the Foundation seeks to fund in order to satisfy its mission. All gifts are tax deductible as allowed by law. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization.

Endowment Gifts
The Foundation seeks to establish a $3 million Endowment in order to secure its future. The Foundation will accept Endowment Gifts in the amount of $10,000 or more; however in order to have a "named endowment for a specific purpose or project" the gift must be in the amount of $25,000 and must be made in a period not to exceed five years. Endowment Gifts grow in value and only a portion of the interest derived from the endowment may be used on an annual basis. The Endowment Funds are managed by the Board of Trustees and counselors of Legg Mason Wood Walker, Inc.
