Krystilyn Washington

Krystilyn Washington was born in Falls Church, Virginia and has lived in the state all of her life, excluding a three-year period when her family lived in Australia. She is the oldest of three children. Her mother works for the U.S government and her father is a retired Air Force Veteran and Baptist minister.
Krystilyn completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia where she majored in Anthropology with a concentration in pre-medicine. She is currently a second year student at Drexel University College of Medicine where she is actively involved as the chapter president for the Student National Medical Association and also holds a regional position as the Region 8 Community Service Liaison. She also volunteers her time with the Drexel's Chinatown and Streetside clinics. Her passion lies in serving minority and underserved communities. She hopes to go into the field of pediatrics or obstetrics and gynecology.
